Panzer Corps Grand Finale: a DLC and an update!
|
It has taken over a year to develop more than 140 scenarios, hundreds of units and an extensive number of new features. From the cold steppes of Russia, to the hostile beaches of Sicily, the Panzer Corps Grand Campaign series of DLCs has brought to life the entire course of the war in one of the most ambitious projects ever created for wargamers.
Now, with the release of Panzer Corps '45 West, the Grand Campaign comes to an end. In this final installment, surrounded by enemies on all sides, the once mighty German Wehrmacht faces ultimate defeat on the eve of 1945. Little do the Allies suspect that deep underground in secret bunkers, German scientists and engineers have built an arsenal of wonder weapons that could turn the tide of the war! Armed with the these new weapons, Germany sends the last of its reserves in to battle with Operation Wacht am Rhein - a final attempt to end the war favourably.
The v1.13 update contains numerous fixes as well as rule changes to keep the game balanced and in fit fighting form, including a fix for a recent multiplayer issue. The goal of this and recent updates has been to fully implement the Classic board game AP activation system, as well as adding a host of other features and improvements, including super high resolution 2D maps and counters.
This update includes fixes for units low on APs not being able to fire during a group fire, as well as a fix for spent units attached to groups during a Command or CAPs action incorrectly becoming unspent. Additional tweaks include the pass action now finishing the activation of currently selected units in Classic AP mode.
The DLC contains 5 new units including the V1, V2 and advanced jet aircraft such as the Gotha, 18 all-new scenarios that utilizes the new features implemented in Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps as well as the latest content updates. Players can import their core force from the previous campaigns, or alternatively use a preset core force and play each of the campaigns on its own or jump in at any year.
Furthermore, Panzer Corps Wehrmacht has been updated to version 1.13. The v1.13 update contains numerous improvements to the UI and the controls and features new modding possibilities. This update also includes some language fixes, adds new units and fixes the Tileset. If you want to see the full changelog visit our Forum.

Unity of Command turns Red!
Unity of Command: Red Turn, the first DLC for Unity of Command is here! The story is set shortly after the events of the Stalingrad Campaign focusing on Operation Citadel, the ill-fated German attack at Kursk.
Unity of Command: Red Turn is a Turn-Based strategy game developed by 2x2 Games that put the player in control of Soviet forces when the German Army launches a major assault on the Eastern Front near the city of Kursk in July and August 1943. It is remembered as the largest series of armored clashes and the costliest single day of aerial warfare in history.
The Soviet campaign features 17 scenarios, which together tell the story of how a maturing Red Army won the war through perfecting the art of the deep operation - essentially a Soviet variant of the blitzkrieg. 2x2 Games has added scenarios that cover everything from large scale operations such as Rumyantsev or Bagration, to the more confined and intricate affairs such as the Battle for Kiev in November 1943. There are also four scenarios that have been developed specifically for multi-player, including the tense Korsun Pocket and Operation Konrad.
Unity of Command: Red Turn is available now!
Unity of Command: Red Turn is an expansion and needs a copy of Unity of Command to play.
