New Facebook Page

Check us out!  Sloan PTO launched a new Facebook page dedicated to providing up to the minute news for our PTO Members. Like a meeting on the go, Sloan PTO Press will be the official vehicle for delivering timely tidbits from the PTO Board and Committee Chairs. The new page does not replace the Membership-maintained Sloan PTO - Community Page, which has become an excellent source for past and present PTO Members to share ideas, opinions, and advice as it relates to the Sloan community in general. Rather, Sloan PTO Press stands beside this page to provide more direct, news-related content.  If you have any questions about Sloan PTO Press, please feel free to email Jennifer Taylor directly at Please click here to join the page.

Attention 5th Grade Parents

The 5th Grade Farewell Committee held its first organizational meeting on January 28th. 14 people attended and engaged in a lively, open discussion followed by a unanimous vote that determined our theme for this big event!  On Thursday June 5th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., we're taking the class of 2021 to "Hollywood" where lights will be bright and dreams will shine, but nothing will glow brighter than what lies ahead for our 5th Grade Stars!

During the meeting we also determined a need for six separate committees each of which will be led by Chairpersons who were selected during the meeting.  Each one of our six committees is equally important and will collaborate to achieve a successful, memorable event for our kids and, each one of our six committees has a great need for you to get involved as a volunteer, to offer suggestions or to make donations. Please take a look at the information below and contact the Chairperson managing the committee you'd most like to contribute to, or you may reach out to anyone listed to express your interests or to ask questions.
