Upcoming Assemblies

On Thursday, January 30th, Darren Miller will be speaking to our fourth and fifth graders to celebrate their efforts during this month's Wild about Reading Challenge. Mr. Miller, who recently completed the Oceans Seven Challenge, is a Franklin Regional graduate, world-renown swimmer, and motivational speaker. His motto, "Every breath is a gift" is the driving force behind his desire to push the boundaries of what is possible and inspire our students to push themselves through tough challenges as well.

On Wednesday, January 29th, our kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students' achievements during the Wild about Reading Challenge will be celebrated in a grand finale fashion when Dynamic West School Assemblies Incorporated visits Sloan. During this safe, hands-on presentation, students will have the opportunity to take an exciting look at live animals from around the world.

Family Zumba Night!

Mark your calendars for Friday, January 31st at 7:00 for Family Zumba Night! Alba Fitness will be providing a Certified Zumba Instructor to get our kids moving and dancing to energetic music for 45 minutes in the LGI. The cost is $10.00 per child, payable in cash only upon arrival, and adults can join in for free! All proceeds of this fun fundraiser will benefit Sloan PTO. So, come on down and get your swivel on!
