Project Bundle-Up

Thank you to everyone that donated to Project Bundle-Up. We raised over $730.00, which will be presented to WTAE at the student's assembly this Wednesday, November 13th. The assembly will be a combination of both WTAE & the Carnegie Science Center. We would like for all the students to wear their Blue & Gold clothing that day to show our school spirit. Also, make sure to watch the news that evening & you may get a glimpse of your child on TV. It should be an exciting day for the students.

Third Grade Darden Club

Garden SpadeThe 3rd Grade Garden Club will meet on Wednesday November 20 from 3:30 to 4:30.  During this meeting, students will be making birdseed feeders using birdseed and recyclable materials. Please have your child bring a pinecone, toilet paper roll, paper towel roll, or stale bagel and a baggie of birdseed, if possible, to help get them started on their project.

An emergency contact sheet MUST be filled out if this is the child's 1st meeting.  Click here to  access the emergency contact sheet.

A permission slip must be signed and returned by Monday, November 18th, by 3:00 p.m.  Click here to access the permission slip.

Holiday Shop

Sloan Elementary PTO will be holding its annual Holiday Shop from Monday, December 9 through Thursday, December 12. The children love to shop for their friends and family from a wide assortment of gifts ranging in price from $0.50 to $8.00.

In order to make this event a success, we are in need of volunteers with Level 1 Clearances to donate their time. Help is needed beginning at 9 a.m. for set-up on Friday, December 6 until it is finished, Monday through Thursday during teacher-designated time slots (days and times to come), and Friday, December 13 at 9 a.m. for clean-up. We would love to have your help! To volunteer, please contact your Holiday Shop Co-Chairs:
