Grubhub creates ‘task force’ amid complaints over bogus fees

Grubhub said it’s creating a “task force” to tackle complaints from restaurants that it charges bogus fees for phone calls that don’t result in food orders.

After being threatened with legislation in the Big Apple, the food-delivery giant said in a letter to the New York City Council on Wednesday that it will create a “cross-functional task force” to “specifically look at how we can better communicate with our restaurant partners and make our system easier to use.”

The Zagat Guide is Back in Print

It’s been three years, but that familiar maroon book is back. The 2020 Zagat survey of New York City restaurants will go on sale on Tuesday.
The new 352-page book retains the same cover and pocket-size dimensions of the original. The three most popular restaurants — that is, the places the surveyors named their favorites: Le Bernardin, Gramercy Tavern and Peter Luger Steak House — were also the same as in the 2017 guide.
