Economic Injury Disaster Loan Assistance

Small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories are currently eligible to apply for a long-term, low-interest loan due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

Michigan Economic Development Corporation Small Business Grant/Loan Relief Program

Once you click on the link, the application information is located at the bottom of the page. You must answer the 4, yes or no questions to determine if your small business qualifies. Then and only then will an application appear for you to download and complete.

Please read instructions carefully and be sure to email (no mail or hard copy applications are accepted) your application to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. Sunday March 29, 2020. Please let me know if your business decides to apply for this program.

The Michigan Small Business Relief Program will provide up to $20 million in support for small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 statewide. The funding is divided between $10 million in small business grants and $10 million in small business loans to support businesses facing drastic reductions in cash flow and the continued support of their workforce. Funds for the program are expected to be available no later than April 1, 2020.
