Pick Up Your Stocking for a Soldier Today!
Brighten the Christmas of a soldier overseas! Sending over 1000 stockings last year, hopefully this year will be an even bigger success! Eric and Jennifer Shook, of Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, are asking for your support of their 10th year of filling stockings for soldiers. Tiffin Community Foundation in partnership with many other community organizations, is launching a program call "Be A Light" this holiday season in Tiffin and Seneca County. Everyone in Seneca County is encouraged to shine lights during the holiday season. Tiffin Community Foundation has purchased more than 1,000 battery-operated window candles for anyone who wants to "Be A Light." For more details, click here.
Check out Downtown Tiffin's decorated windows from November 28th through December 12th. Downtown businesses will be participating by decorating their windows in bright lights and color. Visitors are asked to choose their favorite window and place their votes at the red ballot box at the Seneca County Justice Center. December 12th is the last day to vote. The winner will be announced at the first showing of the Christmas movie on Sunday, December 13th.
Chamber Partners with Old Fort Banking Company
The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced a new partnership with Old Fort Banking Company that allows them to continue to grow their Chamber Cash program to support small businesses in Seneca County. Chamber Cash is a local gift certificate program and is a zero-cost and zero-risk program for Chamber member companies redeeming the certificates as well as for individuals purchasing them. Individuals looking to purchase Chamber Cash can call the Chamber office at 419-447-4141 or e-mail DMartorana@TiffinChamber.com. They are available in $5, $10, $25 and $50 denominations.

Salvation Army Announces a Partnership with
Buffalo Wild Wings
The Salvation Amy Tiffin Citadel has announced a partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings – Tiffin to help save Christmas in Tiffin and Seneca County. The owners of Buffalo Wild Wings – Tiffin, Mike and Lori Mastro, have partnered with The Salvation of Tiffin Citadel to donate 15% of the proceeds from all gift cards sold at the Tiffin Buffalo Wild Wings store through the end of the year. Customers who purchase gift cards worth more than $25 in value will also receive a $5 bonus gift card, while supplies last. The Mastro’s have a goal of donating $6,000 to the Salvation Army. Along with this partnership they will also be displaying an Angel Tree that will allow customers to sponsor children in Tiffin and Seneca County for Christmas by purchasing gifts for them.

Funding Available for Bars and Restaurants
The Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund is designed to assist Ohio’s on-premise liquor permit holders. This $38.7 million fund will help more than 15,400 licensees significantly impacted by COVID-19 and limited in the full use of their liquor permit. Funding for the program is from the CARES Act.
