Small Business Saturday

We hope you'll join us for Small Business Saturday on November 28. Supporting our small businesses is more important than ever before. We will be giving away a gift basket to one lucky shopper. The basket will contain items donated from local businesses. Shoppers will enter to win the basket by shopping on Small Business Saturday and filling out a ticket at participating businesses. We understand some may not be comfortable going into stores to shop this year so we are including online purchases made at the participating businesses with proof of purchase.

We're currently working on the list of participating businesses. If you are interested, please contact MacKenzie at mhuntsman@huntingdonchamber.com. You'll receive promotional items for Small Business Saturday along with bags filled with goodies to give your first few customers of the day. We will also include you in all advertisements and press releases for Small Business Saturday.
Legislative Luncheon

On October 30, Chamber members joined Senator Ward and Representative Irvin for lunch at the Huntingdon Country Club. After hearing an update on what is happening in Harrisburg, members received answers to several questions. This was our first indoor event for several months and it was wonderful to see our legislators and all the members in attendance.

COVID-19 Guidance on Ventilation in the Workplace

OSHA is committed to protecting the health and safety of America’s workers and workplaces during these unprecedented times. The agency will be issuing a series of alerts designed to keep workers safe. Ensuring adequate ventilation throughout the work environment can help to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Employers should work with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) professional to consider steps to optimize building ventilation. An HVAC professional can ensure that the ventilation system is operating as intended.
