Businesses located outside of the City of Chicago with fewer than 50 workers and less than $3 million in revenue in 2019 will be eligible to apply. Low interest loan, up to $50,000. Successful applicants will owe nothing for six months and will then begin making fixed payments at a below market interest rate for the remainder of a five-year loan term. Starting this Friday, March 27th, interested businesses will be able to express interest at a form that will be posted here. Link
 
Gov. Pritzker announced the state is extending the income tax filing and payment deadline by three months, from April 15 to July 15. The Department of Revenue (IDOR) will continue to process tax refunds for those filing ahead of the new deadline.The fastest, most secure way to receive a refund is to file tax returns electronically and request a direct deposit into a checking or savings account. Taxpayers who have already filed a return can check the status of their return by using the Where’s My Refund? Link

NEW HR Posting Requirement The Department of Labor (DOL) just released the digital version of the required notice of The Families First Conoravirus Response Act (FFCRA). Under the FFCRA every covered employer (covered employers include certain public sector employers and private sector employers with fewer than 500 employees) must post a notice of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requirements in a conspicuous place on its premises. With part of their workforce working remotely, the notice can be emailed directly to workers and / or post the notice on an internal company website or other company external website to which workers have access.
