Monday's Kick Off Celebration - October 21st

More than 120 people gathered in the Shark Tank Pub at Loyalist College on Wednesday, October 23rd for the MEGA MINGLE, celebrating Small Business Week.

Not A Trade Show Business Expo was held on Wednesday, October 23rd with almost 50 local businesses and organizations presenting their 3-minute story, describing their business, who they are and what they do. Thanks to our sponsor Thairific who provided gift certificates and prizes for each session. Thanks also to supporting sponsors, Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing, Centre For Workforce Development, City of Belleville, Loyalist College and the Small Business Centre. 28th Annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards (QBAA) Presentation of these prestigious awards took place at the National Air Force Museum in Quinte West on Friday, October 25, 2024. The event celebrated the region’s businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations, recognizing excellence across 17 award categories.

McDougall's BIG GRANT for Small Business is BACK!

McDougall Insurance has once again partnered with Grenville Mutual Insurance Company to offer a grand total of $10,000 to small business owners. 1st Place wil receive $5000, 2nd Place will receive $3000 and 3rd Place will receive $2000.

If you, or someone you know, owns a small business this contest is for you! All you need to do is submit a picture of your company with a brief write-up explaining who you are and how your business will use the money. That's it!

The contest runs until Oct. 31, 2024, and the winners will be announced Nov. 1, 2024. APPLY NOW!

Halloween at the Children's Safety Village

Children of all ages are welcome to come Trick and Treat on the streets of our miniature Village without having to worry about traffic or other challenges - Thursday.

Local police, firefighters, paramedics and other friends and supports of the Village will be handing out treats to all the ghosts, goblins and other costumed visitors. 5:00 - 7:00 pm · 4:00 - 5:00 for sensory sensitivities
