Thank you for submitting a permit application with us over the past year. Whether you apply regularly or occasionally, we want to ensure you're ready for an important update to help reduce delays and keep projects on track.
Beginning May 1, 2025, we will start enforcing submittal standards that have long been in place but were previously handled with more flexibility.
What this means for you:
- Applications with missing or incorrectly formatted documents will be returned for correction.
- Common issues include:
❌ Improperly named files
❌ Unflattened PDF documents
❌ File types (.png, .jpg, .doc) other than PDF
- These issues can delay review and increase processing times for everyone.
What to do:

✅ Prepare documents correctly the first time to avoid unnecessary delays.
