Let the Army Corp of Engineers Know How You Feel About Project Labor Agreements

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District has issued a survey soliciting comments from the construction industry about the potential use of a government-mandated PLA for the construction of tunnels and subsurface structures at the Sacramento River East Levee Contract 2 project in Greater Sacramento, California.

CFEC encourages the merit shop contracting community to respond to this PLA survey. Tell the USACE that government-mandated PLAs reduce competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting.

Survey responses should be sent via email to Ms. DeAnna L. Mannel at [email protected] by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Please include the Special Notice No. W9123820S0099 in the subject line.
