It’s the most wonderful time of the year….Cookie Season!
Your Girl Scout has the opportunity that doesn’t come along often at her age – learning how to run a business. Our leaf and badge work, the Family Entrepreneur Pin and the virtual resources our professional staff has created work together to teach her skills she’ll use as she grows up and on to adulthood!
Our program begins on December 17. Girls can participate online or in person; we recommend any in-person activities are approached with your family’s safety in mind. For example, if you’d like to go door to door consider printing off business cards, adding the contact information you want customers to connect with and leaving in the door instead of knocking and visiting one-to-one. Here's your template for printable business cards. Your troop leader can also order door hangers and thank you stickers as well. Feel free to check in with your troop leader or cookie manager to access those resources as well.
You’ll be receiving an email from noreply@abcsmartcookies.com on December 14. By setting up your Girl Scout’s platform in Smart Cookies you’ll be able to send friends and family emails to order Girl Scout Cookies and you can access a social media link that you can share on your personal platforms. If you need help with the registration process, please watch this short video for support.
Once you are in the system, here's a great video demonstration on how you and your Girl Scout sets up the account. It's easy and fun as your Girl Scout discovers how she can let her customers know she is selling cookies.
