WHAT IS YOUR PLAN FOR A SUCCESSFUL RETIREMENT?

“A good plan is like a road map: it shows the final destination
and usually the best way to get there.”
H. Stanley Judd
If you are 55 and older, you are probably asking yourself some questions like:
  • How much do I need to retire?
  • How much is enough?
  • What do I do if the stock market crashes?
  • How am I going to create a guaranteed income out of stocks and bonds?
  • And what happens if I need long-term care?

There are many more questions to address, but these are some of the most frequently asked by the women I work with. This is why I have been helping women over the last 35 years create retirement income plans that addresses all these issues.
MEDICARE
MADE EASY: EMPOWERING WOMEN TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR HEALTH CARE
By Danielle Roberts, SWT Guest

Retirement is a time of new beginnings, a chapter in life where women can focus on their well-being and pursue the activities they love.

As you embark on this exciting journey, doing all the things you enjoy with your newfound time is important, but be sure to have a handle on the more "boring" aspects of retirement as well, such as your plan for healthcare.
LOOKING FORWARD TO RETIREMENT - BUT WORRIED ABOUT
LONG-TERM CARE?
By Katana Abbott, SWE Founder

For the last 35 years, I have helped clients plan for retirement as well as how to address the issues of aging and how to remain independent. I was the Designated Daughter® (caregiver) for my parents, and because my parents and I had “the important conversations” and did the proper planning, I was prepared when I received that call that my father was diagnosed with lung cancer and my mother with dementia.
