Make a difference in the community!!
As Parent Resource Coordinator for Colonial Heights Schools, I organize workshops for parents in our division to help support our students and families. I am interested in partnering with local businesses who would be willing to provide a donation for dinners for participating families attending workshops each month. We have found that providing childcare and a light dinner helps working families to make the time to attend and make school connections to support their students.

Average cost of providing a dinner would be $100 to include parents, children and childcare providers.

Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you!

Have you been on the Boulevard in Colonial Heights? Take a drive to the Boulevard and view the Home Town Heroes Banners that are hanging from the lamp posts from the Courthouse to the Police Station. Over 80 men and women are being honored by displaying a banner that has a picture and information about them on it. From WWII to Present day, Men and women who have served and that are serving are displayed. The City of Colonial Heights and the Colonial Heights Chamber salute and appreciate every man and women that has served and that are serving this great country so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy every day.
