Welcome to The Friday Five

Happy Independence Day Weekend!

All SCS offices were closed today, Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Regular operations will resume on Monday July 6.

This week we're sharing heat safety resources from the Delaware County Health Department, recapping yesterday's REMarket event at Friendship Circle, looking forward to tech support at Chester, and making sure you remember to drop by the 2026 Art Show opening reception next week. PLUS, your July Senior Center Calendars are here!

Heat Safety: Stay Cool, Stay Safe!

It's important to take the dangers of this heat wave seriously. We're thankful for these resources we found through Delaware County's Health Department website. Access to cooling locations will be limited today and tomorrow - so we hope that this information can help you or someone in need!

Extreme Heat | Ready PA

Extreme heat is a period of heat and humidity with temperatures higher than 90 degrees for at least two to three days.
