LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENING IN

MRS. MATULEVICH'S GENIUS HOUR!

Nya R in 8th grade fabricated an art doll.

The art doll is a poseable creature. The face and paws were made from clay and the inside of the body was made from coolant hose so she could pose it. Nya painted the fur and face with a airbrush.

Remarkable work!!

Liam S in 8th grade did research on Mythological

Creatures.

He made the base out of styrofoam and landscaping sand and grass. He purchased the Yeti. In his research he found out that seeing a Yeti is considered a bad omen and occasionally worshipped as guardians against evil spirits.

Great Research Liam!

Luke A in 7th grade made a wood bench.

He made it with 2 x 4's and (1) 2 x 10. He glued the legs together with Gorilla glue. He then presanded it all and assembled it.

Great woodworking Luke!

In partnership with the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation and the Whitefish Community Foundation, Whitefish Mountain Resort is pleased to announce that we are once again offering free ski passes for the 2022-2023 Winter Season to students currently enrolled in 5th Grade! These passes provide unlimited access to skiing or riding for the entire winter season, including night skiing! To register for a pass, each student must complete an application and pay a $25 administrative fee for processing costs. Please fill out the attached form with your student; your student should be prepared to answer some questions themselves about why they love winter and what it means to be safe while participating in winter sports. Once the application has been submitted, you will receive an email with a link to pay for the $25 administrative fee and complete the registration process. Passes will only be available for pick up after the admin fee has been paid.
