Snap2Close and Our Future

When I started Snap2Close in April of 2017, it was geared as a retirement career. However, quality photos and great customer service created a rapid expansion of our little company. Five years later we are now operating with 8 photographers and an editing team that really pulls it all together. In this short time, we have photographed more than 3,200 homes (click here to see a map of our photoshoot locations) and captured more than 672,000 photos.

I want to personally thank you for your trust and so many referrals you keep sending our way. We are sincerely proud to be a part of your success team.

Today, we lead Arizona in the real estate photography industry with cutting-edge technology, camera equipment, and specialized software.

An excellent example of this is our new Standard Matterport 3D Tours. These tours are captured 75% faster than the traditional Matterport Pro Tour, which seems to really appeal to your clients. I will tell you more later in this newsletter.

Our Editorial Staff

Our editorial staff is also unbelievable and in this issue, I would like to introduce you to Rob, our wonderful video editor.  

The videos that he and Seth work on are so top-notch that it truly amazes me. If you haven’t seen this real estate video yet then take a second to watch it. It is a beautiful mix of daylight, twilight, and drone videography.

By the way, Rob and his wife Linda just brought their new baby home from the hospital and we are thrilled for them. Hmmm, I wonder how much sleep they are getting right now!! Last week Rob informed us that he wants to spend more family time, and is going to take an editing break on Sunday and Monday. This means that videos shot on Saturday and Sunday will not be delivered until Tuesday. I think we can all wait that extra day so we can benefit from his beautiful video editing.

Our New Office Space

Speaking of growth, Snap2Close is also moving to its new office at 14362 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, Suite 2113, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. All of our phone numbers will remain the same. If you want to stop by for some training or for more information then please feel free to come on over.  We have plenty of space and three conference rooms to accommodate your needs.

As many of you know, Matterport’s enhanced Cortex AI Software has once again revolutionized the true world of 3D Tours. We can now speed up the process of Matterport capture using full frame Z1 cameras and still deliver stunning 3D walkthroughs. We now brand this as our “Standard Matterport 3D Tour” and it is included in our Platinum Package. It substantially reduces the time onsite which is great news to both you and our client.

Our two Matterport Pro2 Cameras will now mostly focus their work on larger commercial real estate shoots requiring more detailed OBJ 3D mess data for programs like AutoCAD, Revit, etc. However, if you still want the Pro2 Version you will find a category to click on in the Add-on services of our menu to request us to use this camera.

Meet Our Newest Photographer

It is now time to introduce you to Alex Roos, our newest and by far, youngest, photographer. He is currently working on his photography major in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Arizona State University. He is a wonderful photographer, but also a talented saxophone musician as well. He is also a part of the ASU GunDevils which is the clay target team at ASU.

A fun fact about Alex is that his mother is from India and his father is from Sweden. Alex claims they have taught him so much about the world and its cultures.
