Let me first say Happy New Year to all of you!! 2023 was certainly a challenging year for residential real estate. Sky high interest rates and a horribly low inventory made all of our jobs more challenging.  


Today, we are starting to see interest rates drop and that is a blessing. Hopefully these lower interest rates will increase inventory and revenue for all of us.

2023 Our Year in Review


At the beginning of each year I provide an overview of our previous year’s work. What pleases me is that Snap2Close increased the number of new customers by 54%. So let me take a moment and welcome 533 new customers who have moved their real estate photography to Snap2Close. Our goal is to help you be successful by beautifully presenting your listings to the public.  


As many of you know, our commercial real estate photography has significantly increased in 2023. Our commercial clients needed our continuing services in Tucson, Dallas/Fort Worth, Nashville and Las Vegas. Kaitlin Kent did an excellent job with that expansion. We are ever so thankful that she is a significant part of our team.

One of the most appreciative clients last year was the one who sold their Scottsdale hotel for $160 million last year. Kaitlin did all of their photography work and their praise of her amazing skills keeps flowing.


Last year Snap2Close photographed over 2,400 properties. Obviously, that is a record for us and we are thrilled. If all goes as planned, then 2024 will see a significant increase in that number!


We have also reached a new high in the number of Matterport 3D Tours. On average, over 21,000 impressions (appearances on websites) of our Matterport 3D Tours occur each month. We feel like this is an amazing number! Many of our Matterport tours have been for commercial clients, like Allseated, but we plan to extend that service to the multimillion dollar corporate jet market this year. That should be fun and exciting for our staff.


Speaking of 3D Tours, I should also point out that our Zillow 3D Tours also had over 16,000 views and that is solely based on the residential real estate market in the Phoenix area. We provide more Zillow 3D tours than any company in the valley.  We are proud of our success here.


It is more challenging to present our video numbers for this past year as we switched from Vimeo to Aryeo as our host. According to Vimeo our videos were watched over 31,300 times by 11,800 viewers from January 2023 to November 2023. We began using Aryeo to host most of our videos last summer, so I am pretty sure you can increase those numbers by another 35%, but I don’t have the factual data to back that up. As most of you know, Snap2Close’s videos are several steps above most of our competitors.


I would like to chat about floor plans as we close out our 2023 review. As you can imagine, we lead the Phoenix area market in floor plans, since we provide a free floor plan on all of our residential real estate photoshoots. However, what makes us special is that we produce more 3D floor plans than any company in the United States and more CubiCasa based 3D Rendered Videos than any company in the world!


I think you can agree, Snap2Close’s statistics speak volumes about our success.


I can honestly say that I am one proud father. I founded Snap2Close in the fall of 2016 as a part-time retirement job and had zero vision of our company growing to what it is today. My business philosophy was to deliver quality media via professional photography and editing, coupled with outstanding customer service. While I am sure we have stumbled along the way, we have pretty much accomplished that goal and that makes me very proud. Our rapid growth seems to say that we are doing our jobs better than most of the other real estate photography service providers in the Phoenix area. 


That success is based upon the outstanding performance of our photographers, editors, quality assurance and customer service staff. They are all heroes in my book. While I sometimes think of them as my children and me as their father, I know that is rooted somewhat in my foolish pride of wanting to parent them. The reality is that their hard work and dedication simply makes me look good. I will gracefully accept that, but notice how I sign off on this email.


Free Headshots - Our January 2024 Monthly Special


Our January special is a free headshot with our Gold and Platinum packages! If you would like one you must let us know at the time of your order. You will need to appear at your photoshoot at the scheduled time and be ready for your headshot. The photographer will take a few photos where the lighting is best - this is typically outside but may be inside near a window with natural lighting. Keep in mind, this is a complimentary headshot that will not be done in front of a backdrop. If you have any questions please reach out to our office! 

New Snap2Close Tutorials


Over the last three months, we have been developing a whole new suite of video tutorials which are designed for you. Each of these tutorials are directed towards the many questions that our clients have asked over the last few years. Each one lasts from 1 to 5 minutes and is designed to help those of you who may be technologically struggling to download our media, upload your media to MLS and strengthen your marketing position and branding. These tutorials will be available in early January and selectable from the Snap2Close.com menu.

Full Frame


Over the last several months we have been advising you all photoshoot media stored on Full Frame, our previous back office software provider, ended on December 31, 2023. While we have endeavored to maintain photoshoot inventory on multiple platforms, we cannot guarantee that we have all of them. If you need media from a photoshoot completed before February 15, 2023 then please call Jordan at Quality Assurance:  480-420-8260, Extension 2.
