Pillars Gives Back


The Pillars group, Gig Harbor Business Builders chose Food Backpacks 4 Kids this year for its annual assistance to a Not-for-Profit this holiday season. Pictured is Michelle Johnson, Director of Communications, as the recipient of the $500.00 donation from the group.

This year the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce will join the Association of Washington Businesses (AWB) in their Legislative Day in Olympia on Jan. 24th.

Legislative Sendoff - January 3rd


SAVE THE DATE FOR THIS FREE EVENT! Legislative Sendoff 2024 is January 3rd at TCC - Gig Harbor!



Come to the Gig Harbor Tacoma Community College campus to chat with your local representatives and hear their plans for the upcoming legislative session.

Show up early for an exclusive opportunity to connect with local elected officials and dignitaries; doors open at 5:30pm.

Harborview Drive Temporary Lane Closures


The city's geotech consultant, HWA, will be conducting work on Harborview Drive Jan. 3-5 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This will require a lane shift in both directions of Harborview Drive between Austin Street and the entrance to the wastewater treatment plant. Flaggers will be onsite to assist with traffic control while the work is being completed. Please expect minor delays.
