District Celebration Of Excellence Showcases National Baldrige Excellence Award
A festive crowd of dignitaries, community members and Alamo Colleges District trustees and employees gathered recently at the Pearl Stable for the Celebration of Excellence, a Fiesta-themed event highlighting the district's distinction of being the only community college in the nation to win the 2018 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award!
Our Win Is Your Win Roadshow Celebrates Baldrige Award At All Five Alamo Colleges
In honor of being the only community college system to ever win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Alamo Colleges District held "Our Win Is Your Win" celebrations at each of our five colleges. Students, faculty and staff attended the individual celebrations and received recognition for contributions towards this prestigious achievement.
Alamo Colleges' Team Presents At 31st Annual Quest For Excellence Conference
A multi-talented Alamo Colleges District team shared their expertise and experience, including innovations and best practices, at the 31st Annual Quest for Excellence and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards conference held recently in National Harbor, Maryland. The Alamo Colleges team led a number of they key presentations at the conference.
Sharing Days: Our Journey To Winning The Baldrige Award
The Alamo Colleges District invites organizational leaders and staff from around the country who focus on best practices in continuous quality improvement to join us at our Sharing Days. These one-day sessions, held in June 2019 and March 2020, will include a hands-on approach to leadership, our key processes and strategies throughout our organization. Space is limited.
Introducing The Alamo Colleges District's 2019 Fiesta Medal
These spinner medals celebrate each of our five colleges - San Antonio College, St. Philip's College, Palo Alto College, Northwest Vista College and Northeast Lakeview College - as well as our 2018 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award win (logo featured on the back of the spinner).
Fiesta Holiday
The Alamo Colleges District will be closed for the Fiesta Holiday on Friday, April 26 . Regular operating hours at the district and colleges will resume on Monday, April 29.
FredStock 2019
The San Antonio College music business program invites you to the FredStock Music Festival, a free official Fiesta event open to the public, on Friday, April 26, from Noon - 10 p.m., held at 1819 N. Main Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212. Learn More >
