“Beneficial Ownership Reporting Requirements Webinar Coming Up Nov. 8
On November 8th, AWB will be hosting a webinar for Grassroots Alliance members (and their member businesses) on a law that went into effect this year. "The Corporate Transparency Act: Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Requirements for Companies" will help small businesses understand and comply with the new law.
The bipartisan Corporate Transparency Act, enacted by Congress in 2021, requires many companies doing business in the United States to securely report their beneficial ownership information-basic information about who really owns or controls them-to the U.S. government. Many companies are required to report their beneficial ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, a bureau within the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
FinCen Beneficial Ownership Operations and Innovation Chief Phil Lam will present the webinar, which will be held from 11 a.m. to noon.
To join the webinar, go to https://awb-org.zoom.us/j/81010684134. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dru Garson.
