Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce Honored for Advocacy

The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce has been named an AWB Grassroots Alliance Advocate of the Year!

"The chamber, led by Miriam Battson, has demonstrated its commitment to advocacy on behalf of the employer community by consistently keeping its members informed about key issues in Olympia and how they impact employers, by voicing support for policies that will help employers grow, and by serving as a point of connection for lawmakers and the business community." - AWB.

"I wanted to take the time to thank staff, board members, ambassadors, and volunteers. The Association of Washington Business (AWB) honored the Gig Harbor Chamber as Advocate of the Year. The surprise award was presented at the luncheon last week. Thank you for all your hard work for the chamber, everything you do makes a difference. " - Miriam Battson
