Board of Directors Vacancy

With the recent election of Keith Nettesheim as President and the appointment of Charlie Check to fill the vacated position of Vice-President, a vacancy on the Board of Directors was created.

We are reaching out to club members to consider offering their time and talent in filling this vacancy.

Our Bylaws stipulate that directors maintain their primary residence in the Eagle River area.

Regular meetings of the Board of Directors are held monthly from August through April.

The duties of directors are:
  • Attend all membership and board meetings unless excused
  • Represent the membership by supervising the activities of the club
  • Directors have the fiduciary responsibility of the corporation
  • Represent the membership in safeguarding the purpose and mission of the club
  • Volunteer to serve as a committee chair or sub-committee chair

For more information or to request consideration as a director, contact Keith by phone at (715) 617-2898 or via email
WCDC Donation
We received a $1,200 donation from the WCDC for our efforts in staffing the food concessions at the World Series of Snowmobiling and the Arctic Derby Dash earlier this year and for use of the Pisten Bully groomer in preparing the race track.

Shown left to right: Lynn Check, Volunteer of the Year; Sandy Lathrop, Volunteer Coordinator; Fred Rockafellow, Treasurer; Keith Nettesheim, President; Dan Peck, General Manager WCDC; Rusty Wolf, past President.

Thank you to all our volunteers who made this possible!
Rusty Gold!
In case you missed it, there was a GREAT write-up about Rusty in the Vilas County News-Review this week.
