Winter has definitely arrived in our Mountains..snow on Buffalo that will stay until spring, The Bears are fat, but remember they will pop out over the winter, ULLr is on the prowl and we see skiers and riders doing the “ullr” dance.
SKI SEASON with all 5 Summit County Ski Areas open—Yahoo!
Arapahoe Basin led the way and the ski season is now official with the opening of Copper Mountain for their 50th Anniversary. Copper is the youngest ski area in Summit County—50 years young.

ULLR fest—who the heck is ULLR?
He is a Norse God for skiing,winter snow and all snow sports. BUT..according to Prose Edda, a historical text used by scholars of Norse Mythology—ULLR was never given the title “God” of “anything” - “God” or not..we can celebrate him during ULLR fest.
