Volunteer with SHRED on the Slopes


SHRED is a local organization with a mission to provide life skills and career paths to marginalized youth through skateboarding and snowboarding. RSC's Recreation and Fitness team is organizing SHRED volunteers for Sundays, January 12-March 23 (You can sign up for individual weeks; you do not have to be available every week.) Multiple volunteer roles available, equipment and meals provided. Volunteers meet at SHRED headquarters in Albany and travel to Stratton Mountain in Vermont. The Rev Due By November 29


The Rev, a full-color literary and creative arts magazine, is accepting submissions for its 2025 edition. Artwork must be submitted as a high-res jpg, and writing must be submitted as a Word document or PDF. Up to seven submissions per person; submit work to Laurel Petersen at peterl4@sage.edu by November 29.

Fitness Center Hours Over Upcoming Breaks


McKinstry Fitness Center in Troy and Armory FitStop in Albany will close for Thanksgiving break, November 27-December 1. Fitness centers reopen December 2.


The final day of fall 2024 operation is Friday, December 6. Both facilities will resume regular hours Tuesday, January 21.

Esports Gaming Marathon

Thanksgiving break housing: Residence Halls close for Thanksgiving break at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, and reopen at 9 a.m. on Sunday, December 1. If you require on-campus housing for any portion of Thanksgiving break, please complete the Thanksgiving Break Housing Application. If you are approved to stay over Thanksgiving Break, the $75 fee will be applied to your student account.


A message about your student account: Spring semester 2025 bills are due Friday, December 6. Students registered for spring should have received a notification with more details. Check out the Billing FAQs.
