In observance of the Christmas Holiday, Bank of the West offices will close at 2:00PM on December 24th and will be closed December 25, 2018.
We will also be closed on
January 1st, 2019, to observe New Year's Day.

Ragan's Hope is a local organization that helps families who have endured hardship due to the illness or injury that their child has incurred. By adopting an angel, you can give hope to a family that needs help with all kinds of things needed to adjust to their new normal.

Backpack Blessings, sponsored by Denton County Cowboy Church, provides food for children at the elementary school who are on free and/or reduced meal plans during school holidays.

| Set a Budget and Stick to It! Keep track of spending (don't forget about Cash outlay). Eliminate unnecessary gift giving. The recommended approach for paying off credit card debt is to pay off the card that has the highest interest rate first. Consider investing your Christmas bonus or holiday money, contact us for CD Rates or information about our Savings Accounts Give a long-term gift to your smallest family member and consider buying a savings bond Plan ahead for next year, set aside money each month to avoid using credit next time! CardValet can Save the Day!

It's 10 PM, do you know where your debit card is?
In this modern day and age, we rely more and more on our debit cards to pay bills, buy groceries and treat ourselves to the movies; but debit card fraud is on the rise. Did you know we offer a financial tool within our Mobile Banking called "CardValet" that allows you more control on your debit card transactions?
With CardValet you have the power to monitor and control your debit card transactions by:
- Turning the card on and off - If you ever lose or temporarily misplace your card, you can simply turn it off (temporarily or permanently) so that no transactions will be processed,
- Setting limits on the dollar amount and locations of transactions,
- Restricting transactions to allow only those within a specified geographic area relative to the location of your phone.
Additionally, this can be a card management tool for all debit cards that the account owner has authorized; for a debit card provided to a child by the parent (account owner), or for employers (account owner) on employee-issued cards!
