What a great Artist Spotlight Reception with the Open Studio Group Exhibit! Thanks to all the folks who came to support these artists. It was such a fun group, and so touching to hear all the gratitude; for the groups’ mentors (many of whom were in attendance) and for each other and the community that’s being built in Open Studio.
Please check out (and sign up for!) our upcoming classes, we’ve just dropped a whole lotta new ones for the fall season, including a lot of new ceramic classes in October. Which, sounds really far away, but is next week somehow. I’m sure this 80 degree weather on the first official days of fall doesn’t help, but the autumn season is upon us. We’ve got wheel throwing, hand building, surface decoration, and more lined up, something for all ages and levels, including pumpkin projects!
And speaking of fall time edible staples, make sure you come visit us during Cranberry Fest. We will be having an Open House and Art Sale on Saturday October 5. There’ll be Warehouse artists selling their work and fun drink specials at the Inspiration Bar from 9am-4pm. There will so be some free fall time arts and crafts from 10am-2pm. AND!, the day will mark the official kick-off of our mug-tacular fundraiser. We’ve got some gorgeous mugs made by local artists and open studio members for sale, with all the proceeds going back to the Warehouse. Stop in and get first picks on Saturday October 5. Thanks to all those artists who volunteered their time and talents for our community arts center!
