The FOUNDATION is happy to once again partner with The University of Central Florida to start the 2022-2023 iCan! Learn, iCan! Excel and College and Career Prep programs!

This year is all about EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING SKILLS and HEALTHY LEARNING HABITS! Join us – there’s much to explore!

We welcome new and former participants to join our RESEARCH BASED program powered by UCF doctoral students. Each year this amazing program brings NEW and EXCITING focus areas!
Introducing our newest program:
The 221 Network
When: Saturday, September 10
Time: 4pm-6pm
Location: World of Beer, 431 E. Central Blvd. Ste B, Downtown Orlando, 32801
Cost: The FOUNDATION will provide appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks.
Did you get the name? Siblings might....it's the coolest place for siblings 21 and older who have two copies of chromosome 21: 221!

Besides being some of the most AMAZING people around, The FOUNDATION receives several calls each year from adult siblings who need help with their brother or sister who has Down syndrome. We are fulfilling a request to provide this great group of supporters their own network of likeminded individuals.

We are thrilled to announce that The FOUNDATION will be kicking off a social network for adult siblings (21+).

Tour of Champions Bowl-a-Thon
& Silent Auction Committee Meeting
Join the team that helps OVER A MILLION dreams come true!!
The FOUNDATION has awarded more than $1.2 MILLION in scholarships to give our members the opportunities and resources they need to succeed in life. We need YOUR HELP to continue to run these EXTRAordinary opportunities. Join us on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 pm for our next meeting - dinner will be provided! We will meet at Summit Church, 735 Herndon Avenue in Orlando.

Tour of Champions Bowl-A-Thon & Silent Auction is our PREMIERE fundraising event of the year, and we need your help to make it a success! The money we raise from this incredible event keeps all of our scholarships AND programs running.
Join one of our subcommittees TODAY! One hour a month of your time will make a DIFFERENCE!

Subcommittees include:

  1. Corporate Sponsorships - help secure corporate sponsors
  2. Auction Committee - help secure items for the silent auction 
  3. Team Recruitment - help us recruit teams to fundraise and bowl (in-person or virtual)
  4. Corporate Cup Challenge - help us recruit businesses that would like to have a fundraising team and compete for the Corporate Cup

iCan! Surf

Surfs UP! Ready to hang ten? Join our beach bunch TODAY! iCan! Surf is designed to teach the fundamentals of surfing to people with Down syndrome. 

All ages and swimming levels are encouraged to attend! 
Lucky Littles
(Birth - 8 years old)
When: Sunday, September 18
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm

Cost: $2 cash only, per person for the splash pad (under two is free!)

Come play and splash away the day with us! We’ll meet at Rogers Park & Splash Pad for a fun day with the little ones!
Family Skate Night
All ages! Skating is not required.

Time: 8:00 am runners/walkers or 6:30 am for volunteers.

Join the Club 321 (middle/high school) and T21 Social Network (18+) crew as we give back to the community! We will volunteer (or run/walk) and then have a celebratory lunch at the end of the race! Let's show our loved ones that giving back is FUN!
Young Explorers
(1st - 6th grade)

Time: 8:00 am for anyone who wants to run/walk followed by a celebratory lunch at 11am

Join us at our September Meet-Up with Miles to Go at their 5K on Saturday, September 24. Our members and their families are encouraged to join us as a walker or a runner or just come and cheer on members of The FOUNDATION who are running! We will all gather for a celebratory lunch after the run with Club 321 and T21 Social Network.
