It's Been a While...

...since I last wrote. The whirlwind of the holidays has passed (although I have yet to take down the last of my decorations) and it is time to settle in for the best knitting season - the unhurried selfish knitting season. The time when, in fleeting moments of daydreams, I dream of a really huge snowstorm that forces me to remain in my house with nothing to do but knit. Of course, that can only be a daydream because as is true for many of us, there is never nothing that needs doing in my house. However, it is a lovely daydream.

In the shop we have been especially busy unpacking after a very successful weekend spent as a vendor at Vogue Knitting Live! in New York City. (See the photo of our stuffed-to-the-gills Sock Yarn Wall filled with Manos del Uruguay, Malabrigo, Qing Fibres, Hedgehog Fibres, Barnyard Knits, Northbound Knitting, Frabjous Fibers, Apple Fiber Studio, Olann.ie, Fyberspates, Nooch Fibers, Spun Right Round, The Knitted Wit - and more! - above!) We met so many lovely new friends and visited with so very many of you who were able to make it to the show, and we made quite a few new connections with some fabulous people who have equally fabulous new yarns and notions that you will soon be seeing arrive in the shop. Look for more on that exciting front in future newsletters, and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
