A TASTE OF ELCA hosted by the ELCA Diversity Council on Friday, March 9 was an astounding success!
With approximately 200 people in attendance, the cafe was full of people, excitement and GREAT FOOD. This free event was an opportunity for the ELCA family to gather together, try new cultural dishes, dress in cultural clothing and maybe even learn a little. There has been an abundance of positive feedback from the evening. Look for future events...you won't want to miss it!

The Pregnancy Resource Center is holding it's annual "Run for the Bun 5K"
on our ELFBC/ELCA campus this year on
Sat April 21, 2018
We'd love to have your teams involved, whether by group sign-up (ex: Team or Family) or on an individual basis. It's a great opportunity to join together for exercise and team bonding, but also a chance to share in the ministry of the PRC and the work it does to share hope and love with those in crisis as well as fight for the lives of the unborn.
As we move toward the transition of the PRC being located in the midst of our future ELFBC Ministry Village, this is just another way we can show support and encouragement. There are many ways to be involved. Participants may sign up to run the 5K or 1K Fun Run, Volunteer to help out with logistics (prior to or the day of), or make a monetary donation. All of these can be done by following
this link
for the 10th Annual R4TB "Bubble Edition."
Thanks so much for your time! Look forward to seeing you there!

ELCA Class of 2017 grad, Isabella Ferreira boldly proclaims the gospel via her social media feed.

"Learning lately that there is literally always a reason to smile. Sometimes people ask how I can be so happy despite whatever. And, it’s not because life is always perfect- let’s be real, it’s not- It’s because even in the messiness and the imperfect, there’s a God who walks through all of it with us. Never ever missing a beat and always caring about literally even the smallest of details. Despite whether or not we can feel or see Him, we never walk alone. His heart for us is so pure. And, while it’s hard to imagine a love so perfect in a world full of less than perfect people, relationships, and loves, that’s the kind of love that Jesus has for us. Whether we comprehend it or not- and we never fully will- he offers it freely to us. We may not fully comprehend Him, but He fully comprehends us. So, I smile because there’s a God who is large enough to turn this mess, also known as me, into a message about a crazy love that can completely turn a life around."

Let’s do all we can to keep our kids safe and our mission one that brings honor and glory to our Lord.

As we near the end of the school year, we'd like to remind you that it's not too late to be ALL IN for our 2017-2018 ELCA Fund.
The increase in our percentage of families who give, over the past several years, was a key component in receiving the $500,000 grant this year for our Greater Things campaign. There are several stipulations for the grant to be finalized and received...
- construction must be underway
- the funds needed must be pledged or given
- we need to continue to maintain a 50% or higher parent giving percentage
If you have not participated in giving to the ELCA Fund this year, won't you consider a gift that displays your commitment to ELCA and the mission of Kingdom Education? We need your help in reaching or exceeding the 50% mark that expresses that our families are ALL IN!
