THANK YOU, J&W CARSTAR!

J&W CARSTAR sponsored Lily’s adoption fee as part of their sponsorship in last year’s Paws For a Celebration virtual fundraiser!

Sweet Lily found herself homeless after her parents both lost their jobs due to the pandemic. After she found her way to our animal shelter, she met several families, and eventually found her forever home. We are so happy for Lily!

Thank you again, J&W CARSTAR for sponsoring our event; without your support, our virtual fundraiser would not have been so successful. Friends, be sure to show our generous sponsor some love! www.carstar.com
WE ARE SEEKING AUCTION ITEMS AND EXPERIENCES!
PAWS FOR A CELEBRATION 2021, OUR SECOND ANNUAL VIRTUAL AUCTION IS COMING SEPTEMBER 13th-19th! Proceeds from this event benefit our shelter animals while they are in our care as we find their forever homes.

In order for our event to be successful in raising crucial funds for our shelter animals, we need your help! If you would like to be a sponsor for the event or donate something for our auction (item or experience), please contact events@hbpets.org. Be sure to watch social media for event updates!
WILL YOU HELP US FIGHT ANIMAL ABUSE AND NEGLECT?

By becoming a Loyal Companions monthly donor, you can help us as we provide lifesaving care to our shelter animals as we find their forever homes.

We would like to introduce you to Clara. This sweet girl was found as a stray with a fractured leg and eye injury. HBPets provided the surgery and care she needed. Today she is an active, playful, and healthy companion, living with her forever family. Without support from our community, we would not be able to help animals in need, like Clara.

THANK YOU, FIRST FEDERAL!
Your votes are in! We are so grateful to our community and the support of local businesses like First Federal.

HBPets recently received a $2,970 check from First Federal’s Customer Ballot Program and we were voted the number one non-profit again in 2021! This program will distribute funds to 95 non-profits in Yamhill County this year. Thank you to everyone who believes in our mission and voted for us, and to First Federal for offering such an amazing gift to the community!

GOING BACK TO THE OFFICE?
If your dog has been constantly at your side during work from home situations this last year, it's likely they will need help during your transition back to the office.

Here are some helpful tips:
1. Go through your morning ritual/routine
2. Pretend to drive to work
3. Practice crate training
4. Implement a regular walking schedule

SWEETIE WAS REUNITED WITH HER FAMILY!
During the snow and ice storm in February, 18-year-old Sweetie went missing and her family was devastated without her.

A good Samaritan found her in a pile of snow and took her home to get her warmed up and fed. In the coming weeks, he had to move and wasn’t able to take her with him. He brought her to the HBPets animal shelter and before she knew it, Sweetie was reunited with her family!

We love happy endings like this, don't you?

TRIXIE IS READY FOR HER NEW HOME!
A HUGE HBPets THANK YOU to The William A., and Shelly R. Mackie Charitable Trust for sponsoring Trixie’s adoption fee as part of their sponsorship in last year’s Paws For a Celebration virtual fundraiser!

Trixie is looking for a home where she can sunbathe and be treated like the queen that she is! This beautiful girl is 5-years-old and has been spayed. Trixie had a love-filled life, but then the toddler that she was sharing her family with became mobile. Although the family tried many things, Trixie wasn’t happy with all of the attention from the young child. Trixie would love a home with no children under the age of 12. We think she would be fine living with a mellow cat, but no dogs, please. She is very sweet and has really blossomed since arriving at our shelter.

You can visit Trixie at the HBPets Animal Shelter, Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., no appointment is needed.

Thank you again, William and Shelly Mackie for sponsoring our event; without your support, our virtual fundraiser would not have been so successful.
