Trojans Return Home in Full Force
Homecoming 2019 was a week that nobody will ever forget thanks to the hard work of Mrs. Waler and our current students, and the return of so many alumni and friends throughout the week. This year's theme was "Under the Sea' and featured incredible ocean-like decorations on al 3 floors of THS, Pirate and Tropical themed dress up contests, an epic rally that was highlighted by a suprise kiss....from MOM for each senior football player, and the selection of seniors Sabrina James and Mitchell Knotek as Homecoming King and Queen.

Friday night the Trinity community gathered for a fun filled evening at the Beer and Belly Sports Grille, and on Saturday night the alums enjoyed each other's company in the North End Zone of Bedford Stadium while the Trojans were taking care of Richmond Heights 35-0! Sunday night it was all about the students as the week concluded with the annual Homecoming Dance where the young ladies looked beautiful in their new dresses and the young men looked like a million bucks in their suits. We are thrilled that so many Trojans alumni made it back, as they represented decades of graduating classes. The smiles and hugs that filled the week will never be forgotten as we already look forward to Homecoming next year! You can relive the week through photo galleries and videos just by visiting our Facebook and Facebook Alumni pages. #Trojans4Life
PPI Partner Celebration
During Homecoming Week we also celebrated our 10 year anniversary of the transformative Pre-Professional Intership Program in one beautiful night at the Holy Spirit Byzantine Church in Parma. Organizational partners from all over Cleveland and alumni of the program gathered for some incredible food while hearing from PPI Director Barb Dottore and 3 alums of the program; Scott Bollinger '12, Nicole Kontur '12 and Javon Miller '17. Each talked about how important the program has been in their lives and how it set them up for success in college and their careers.

Mrs. Dottore also recognized our 10-Year and Pioneer Sponsors with awards for their commitment to our students. To date, 615 students have gone through the program in its first decade, and its significance is being recognized throughout the region. Mrs. Dottore was a special guest on "Cleveland Connections" with Chelsea Lyons, and you can hear it in its entirely here . The program will also be featured in the January/February issue of Northeast Ohio Catholic !
Got Prayer?
Trinity's ministry program has long been considered the gold standard in the Diocese of Cleveland. One major reason why is the Retreats put on throughout the year, not only for our current students, but for those in several parochial schools throughout the region. The Got Prayer? Retreats are an incredible way for 8th graders to get in touch with and relect on their spirtual journey through song, prayer, nature hikes, and many activities with their classmates and our student ministers. We hope you have enjoyed the live "Prayer and Praise" segments on Facebook and the documenting of all the good that is taking place at Camp Christopher.

Two more Got Prayer? Retreats remain before the renowned 8th Grade Retreat on October 18-19. This retreat, also at Camp Chris, is also offered free of charge to 8th graders attending a Catholic school or in a PSR Program. This fun, spiritual and uplifitng retreat promises to be one of your most memorable experiences ever. Just visit our webpage here to register online by October 16.
Retiring #24!
We are so thrilled to announce that at halftime of the October 11 football game against Cuyahoga Heights the Trojans will retire the number 24, last worn by Mike Hudec ‘80 in 1979. Mike is one of Trinity’s all time great RB who is credited with putting the football program on the map. Nobody has worn 24 in 40 years and now officially, nobody will again. Kickoff is set for 7 PM at Bedford Bearcat Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at the front gate. We can’t wait to see everyone on this special night for Mike and the Trojans football program!
