Community Partner Highlight
Headquartered in Houston, Mustang Cat is a privately-held CAT dealership that provides construction and power systems equipment throughout the greater Houston area. Over the years the company has been behind numerous projects that have shaped the Houston skyline, including the Astrodome, the Beltway (8), the Northwest Freeway (290), the Grand Parkway (99), and numerous buildings downtown, in addition to supplying power systems for a range of businesses. In 2021, Mustang Cat provided the Montgomery County Women’s Center with a generous award to go toward our shelter and hotline operating expenses. Thanks to Mustang Cat, we were able to continue offering life-saving services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence via our 24-hour emergency hotline and emergency shelter. “Since the company was founded 70 years ago, Mustang Cat has committed itself to doing good in the local communities of Greater Houston and Southeast Texas where our employees and customers live and work,” company representatives said. “We are honored to partner with the Montgomery County Women’s Center as they lead the effort in preventing domestic and sexual violence.”
June Agency Highlights
We hosted our quarterly Volunteer Training on June 22, 2022. This is an opportunity for community members to learn more about our agency, the services we provide and how they can get involved. We cannot accomplish our mission and operate our agency without the help of our dedicated volunteers.
Thanks to Distributing Dignity for their amazing donation!! So excited to be a recipient of your program again this year! Distributing Dignity’s mission is to distribute new bras, pads and tampons, enhancing the dignity of women in need.
Huge shout out to realtor Jordan Sanchez and her amazing clients for these wonderful donations!!! We are incredibly blessed to have the community support that we do!
Thanks to Kristine Hunnell Chu for giving our guys a great review on Facebook!!
Thank You to The Pines Apartments in The Woodlands, who invited community partners to talk about the resources available to the residents of the apartment complex. We had a great time meeting and greeting with residents and networking with other agencies.

SIGN UP FOR THE AUGUST CHALLENGE
This summer make a difference in our community by joining Montgomery County Women's Center for our “31 Miles in 31 Days” Summer Challenge.

Whether you do one mile a day, smash out all the miles at once, or something in between, you have the chance to make a difference this summer.

Grab your family and friends, or go it alone, but it's time to get outside and help some of our county's most vulnerable people by taking part in the challenge of completing 31 miles or more and raising money for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Run, bike, walk or swim 31 miles or more in August and help fund services for victims and their families.
