All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
My wife often uses the phrase: "so that...." She likes to get things done 'so that' we are well-prepared for upcoming events or available for what might come next. It's a great help to have a 'so that' person in your home and on your staff!
God also teaches us the value of 'so that' in Paul's letter to Timothy. A major part of building God's kingdom involves training God's children in righteousness through time spent in His Word. This regular, Scriptural exercise plays a vital part in equipping God's people to first rely on Christ's righteousness for salvation... and then to develop into His servants that go out into the world and share HIs love through good works.
