I've been working this winter on my new logo for Fostering Health and I'm happy to reveal it here! I'm so happy with this provocative image that brings the vitality I love seeing emerge from therapy. I wanted to depict my love of the trunk of the body, love of the viscera, my belief that good therapy work returns the fire to your life and also the fluidity. The lettering also depicts sage and indian paintbrush, plants that symbolize clearing, cleansing, nurturing and community to me. This image was an artistic collaboration between myself and Berkeley artist Jen Bloomer! She can be found here, at Radici Studios, https://radicistudios.com/about/. Check out her art prints! She has been wonderful to work with and had such a gift at taking my vision for my work and putting it into a set of images that came out perfect and even better than I could have imagined. When I look at this logo, I feel seen in my vision for what you and I can accomplish together.
In addition, I reconstructed my website, https://www.fosteringhealthpt.com/. My goals for communication came together as I saw the logo come to life. I wanted to use my art in the website. And I wanted to bring back online scheduling. I love the colors, the flow, and the words in the website now. I am still working on some of the pages, but so much is already up, definitely the most important parts are there. You can go there to find my scheduling, understand the full scope of my toolbox, book an appointment, refer people to sign up for the newsletter, buy a gift card (soon), to read some of my writing and to find resources that I particularly find helpful. You can also access my venmo there, find my social media links and contact me directly from the contact form.
The website I chose allows buttons to be added, so I was able to add a Book Now button to the home page, which brings you to my Jane booking page. Jane is a wonderful scheduling, documentation and billing program. It has an easy scheduling interface that you'll access when you hit Book Now on the home page. You can also sign up for a waitlist so that you'll be notified when others cancel. You will get emails from Jane, but at this point, they might be going to your spam or junk folder. If you haven't seen the welcome email last week and you've been a patient of mine previously, please check your junk folder and okay emails from Jane or JaneApp to make sure you're getting all the communication!
Please do send me feedback on all these changes if something comes up! I'd love to hear how the website and Jane are working, or not working if that's the case, for you! Help me make these transitions as smooth as possible. And thanks, as always, for your support! Please pass this email on if you know someone who would benefit.
In Gratitude,
