Year-End Testimonies and Impact

Greetings!

As we close this milestone year, we rejoice in the legacy stories that have emerged—testimonies from those whose lives have been profoundly shaped by Hephzibah

Ministries through two distinct seasons.

These stories, like so many others, remind us that Hephzibah has always been more than

a place. It is a movement of God’s people, first through the children’s home and now through Hephzibah62:4 Churches across the U.S. and Canada, reaching vulnerable children in their own communities.

BIG NEWS for 2026!

2025 brought some unexpected changes to our team.

CeCe, our Hephzibah62:4 Program Coordinator since 2023, transitioned out in May to focus on being mom to her two baby boys. Although I knew I would eventually rehire, I didn’t feel peace about doing so right away. So I waited, and prayed for clarity and timing.

Then in October, God surprised Anika, our Administrative Assistant since 2020, with a new calling. And suddenly the waiting started to make sense.

I will always look back on this season, and on these two team members, with deep gratitude. God used their obedience and unique giftedness to accomplish exactly what He had planned for Hephzibah62:4 for that season. We celebrated them well as they transitioned, and I’m grateful that both continue to serve alongside us as part of the close‑knit prayer team of local church ministry leaders we formed in 2021. Together we continue to pray for “More Than Enough” for kids and families before, during, and beyond foster care in West Michigan—and we continue to see God show up miraculously week after week.

So now what?

After Anika finished her time with Hephzibah62:4 on November 12, I wasn’t sure. But God knew exactly what He was doing. Just a few days later—on a Monday morning, as I finally felt ready to begin rebuilding the team—He moved quickly and decisively.

Early that afternoon, I received a message from someone I hadn’t heard from in quite some time, who had no idea about the openings:

“Hi Jodi! I pray you’re well! I wanted to reach out to tell you to keep me in mind as Hephzibah grows. I continue to be very much called to this organization!”

That message sparked a cascade of conversations with two women (one already on my radar), updates to job descriptions, and ultimately two job offers. Literally one week later to the hour, I had commitments from two uniquely experienced and qualified new staff members.

Since then, I haven’t stopped praising God for His faithfulness and provision. Orientation begins in person next Monday, January 5.

I can’t wait for you to meet our new staff members here.

If you are reading this, you are an important part of our team. Please pray with us for our newly configured staff and for God’s favor in 2026, as we each do our part to transform the lives of vulnerable children.

New Year’s blessings, with love—

Jodi and the Hephzibah62:4 Team
