Dear Ricardo and Beth,,

So much to celebrate in this past week...but let's start with the most recent! We have really enjoyed watching World Cup soccer for the past month and are very happy that Argentina is bringing it back to Latin America! It was a great win! There is lots of dancing in the streets in Buenos Aires!

We also celebrate the Uruguay Mission district! There are so many young leaders being developed! There are so many disciples multiplying disciples! There are so many stories of transformation taking place! We even got to celebrate two of God's miraculous healings while we were there! God is at work in Uruguay in very exciting ways. In fact, just last weekend we were literally dancing in the streets with the whole church and over a hundred kids who are an integral part of the ministry there!

We hope you are celebrating with us all that God is doing in Latin America. These past four weeks, our missionary family has given you an overview of what is happening. This week, we wrapped up the mini-series and I was so busy traveling and celebrating that I almost missed the chance to share it with you...but here it is...the last episode. (Watch 'til the very end to see Ricardo once again.) You can also read the accompanying email and of course, we invite you to make a tax-free donation to support the ongoing ministry in the region. To do that click on the buttons below the video.

It was over 100 degrees in Durazno, Uruguay last week. Obviously we are at the other extreme of temperatures now! However, no matter the temperature outside, we are really celebrating every minute that we get to spend together as a family of four! With both kids on school breaks, we took a few days off to celebrate life.

And the greatest celebration of all is just around the corner! Next weekend we get to celebrate the coming of the King, our Lord and Savior who was born without any pomp and circumstance. His birth did not elicit dancing in the streets nor ticker-tape parades and yet, that single event broke history in two! It provides meaning to our lives and hope for our futures! So much to celebrate!!

We love and appreciate each of you!

Merry Christmas from,

Ricardo, Beth, Juliana & Jonathan
