It is vital that our region continues to address key issues of homelessness as programs face new challenges and funding pressures. Join the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness, its partners, legislative and municipal leaders, and community members as they gather in solidarity, in gratitude for our community, and in determination to provide safe and stable housing to our most vulnerable residents across western Massachusetts. Although in-person attendance is full, this essential event is still open for Zoom access!

All the Feels production by ServiceNet


Members of Whole Children™ and Milestones, Pathlight programs of ServiceNet, are preparing for their annual theater production—All the Feels, an original rock saga set to hit the stage on May 30 & 31. Rehearsals are underway, and excitement is building for this high-energy, original performance. The show follows indie band Preston Wolf and the Feels on the brink of a world tour—until backstage tensions threaten to derail everything. Get your tickets for the show before they sell out!

Child Safety Program grants for car seats


Massachusetts is pleased to announce the launch of the Child Passenger Safety Education and Assistance Program. Through this program, eligible organizations may request car seats to distribute to families in need. This initiative aims to reduce child passenger injuries by partnering with eligible organizations to ensure that low-income families are equipped with the correct car seat. Hat tip to Senator Jo Comerford's office for sharing info about this program!

DIAL/SELF Youth & Community Services faces cuts


DIAL/SELF announced recently that cuts by DOGE are expected to reduce a significant share of the organization's $2 million budget, due to reductions in AmeriCorps funding. DIAL/SELF is currently planning for its 2026 fiscal year and expects the cuts to impact some programming.

New housing data report highlights issues


Housing Navigator MA recently partnered on a new report that gives a clear, detailed picture of the gap between the affordable rental housing available and what the state's residents actually need. Massachusetts only has enough affordable housing for 32% of our low-income households.

Equity in the 413 is happening on June 12th


Equity in the 413: Western Massachusetts Racial Equity Summit is a convening to support relationship building across several industry areas. This call-to-action helps attendees from our region align our efforts to advance racial equity in workplaces and organizations across western Massachusetts. For 2025, they're offering even more workshops and self-care opportunities.
