Make-Up Classes - Valuable Information....

We ask you to schedule all make-ups at least 24 hours in advance, and no more than one week in advance. There are no time constraints or expiration dates on make-ups. You must be enrolled and your tuition must be paid up to date in order to schedule a make-up. Make-up classes must be scheduled for the same type of class that was missed. The only person, who can complete a make-up class, is the person who missed the class. If you can't attend a scheduled make-up, please call us to cancel your make-up.

SoCal Gymnastics Team

at the

Judges' Cup

Congratulations Gymnasts! 1st Place -- Level 4 Team!

Out of 7 teams, our Level 4 gymnasts won the Judges' Cup on Sunday, August 29. It was a great moment for these girls. Check out the video on SoCal Gymnastics Training Center Facebook fan page. The gymnast's performed many personal best routines resulting in medals for every gymnast on the team. Another huge success is each of the gymnasts qualified to the South Sectional Competition which is being held in San Diego. For upcoming competition details, please visit our fan page.

We had 1st place all-around wins in the 6-7, 9, and 10-11 age divisions for Emily Pires, Maddie Bartels and Chloe Spencer respectively. The 12+ age division shined with 2nd and 3rd all-around wins for Jordan Altshul and Sydney Wennerstrom respectively. Ashlyn Houston placed 2nd and Gabrielle Pires placed 3rd all around for the 9 age division. Keely Ferguson, one of the newest team members, placed 3rd all around and 3rd on beam in the 6-7 age division. Taylor Benson was solid on every event and placed 3rd on beam. Kennedy Olsen hit every skill on beam taking 2nd place. Morgan Kindel had her highest all-around score and placed 3rd on beam. In the 8 age division, Jacinda Martinez placed 3rd on beam and floor, and Brenna Smith, earning her first medal, placed 6th on floor. In the 6-7 age division, our youngest gymnast, Amanda Obergfell, placed 4th on beam, floor and the all-around; and Lauren Gray placed 7th on beam earning her first medal. McKenna O'Neil had a near perfect floor earning a 2nd place medal.

SoCal Gymnastics wants to thank our amazing coaches, Coach Neela and Coach Tiffany, who put a lot of passion into helping these girls achieve their goals. In addition, thank you to all the gymnasts' awesome families for their support and dedication!

These athletes have worked extremely hard in the gym, and have had a very impressive start to their season. Congratulations to the entire SoCal Gymnastics Team!
