We will create a mural for the Troy and I65 underpass and seek ways to incorporate art and banners throughout the Shelby St. Corridor. We work to create the Shelby Street Village concept.

SEND will be hosting a sort of bar trivia with all questions related to the southeast side. Subject matter includes history, culture, local celebrities, geography, and more. What is YOUR Southeast IQ??
The winning team will receive prizes from local establishments, as well as the glory of knowing everything SouthEast.
BYO Food and Drinks! Doors open at 6:30 with Trivia starting at 7. This is a free event! Please have one person from your team register on Eventbrite to reserve your spot. Recommended team size is 1 to 6 participants.

The Tube Factory Art Gallery and Night Market

* We are adding a food crawl to our First Friday activities. In addition to food trucks and food vendors at the Tube Factory, Faith Temple will be grilling BBQ at the Garfield Park Art Center.

Bethany Lutheran Community Garden is ready to deliver
fresh produce to Hunger Inc. and a Servants Heart.
This community garden is a the result of the following collaborating partners:
  • Purdue Extension
  • Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center
  • SoIndy Quality of Life, Health & Wellness Action Team
  • UIndy
  • Purdue Ext. Urban Agriculture Certificate program
  • Bethany Lutheran Church and community volunteers

Bethany Garden will host community work nights every Tuesday evening at  6pm (4702 South East Street , southwest portion of intersection of I-465 and U.S. 31). On every third Tuesday of each month, meals will be provided at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!
