In SOUTH INDY our BIGGEST ASSET is our PEOPLE
South Indy brings PEOPLE together to solve community problems and leverage resources to improve the quality of life for all South Indy residents. We have an open invitation for you to join one of the groups above as a highly valued ASSET.

Here are some examples of people in South Indy serving as assets this past year:
  • Debby and Natalie stuffed and organized back to school bags
  • Janette and Victoria organized neighborhood cleanups
  • Cheryl and Katie asked event participants to complete a SoIndy survey
  • Ruth tells people she meets about the South Indy Quality of Life Plan
  • Mary Ann keeps her block clean as a KIB Block Captain
  • Rosedale Hills neighbors went door to door collecting emails to better communicate with their neighbors
  • Judy and Fred planted a small community garden to provide fresh produce for food pantry participants
  • Esther is making her community aware of an environment issue
  • Jean volunteers at local arts and cultural events
  • Thom created a data base for SoIndy
  • Jim makes sure his neighborhood park is maintained
  • Local church members created snack packs and collected clothing for school children
I could go on and on, but you get the point, right? Each person has value to add to our community, whether on a small scale (neighbor-to-neighbor) or on a community-wide scale. Together we are stronger!
