QUARTERLY SOCIAL IMPACT REPORT

Dear Community Members,
United Way of Greater Mercer County has been very busy!  We recently wrapped up our third annual Strike Out Hunger event.  This year we expanded our work in the food insecurity area by applying a three prong approach to impact summer hunger in Mercer County {read on to learn more}.  Our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) continues to grow as we offer free tax prep to more people every year {stats on that program below}. Every piece of our work involves partners and volunteers. We'd like to thank all of our dedicated volunteers as well as our many partners in the community for working tirelessly to make our community a better place to live, work, play and raise a family. As always I can be reached with any questions or concerns at 609-896-1912

Strike Out Hunger was such a moving event. I was a bit emotional making breakfast this morning for my children, knowing that others are without!  We look forward to participating every year!
