From the Executive Director

It's "a little known fact" that one of my favorite conversations this time of year is about being a discerning consumer of the fruit that got Adam in big-time trouble. But a better known fact is that I love to discuss the power of the SVP model and our impact.  I invite you to be a part of the  many ways we're engaging in our community!

Exciting Times at SVP! Granting Cycle Update

SVP follows a venture philanthropy model, providing both grants and consulting services to the nonprofits we support. We carefully select small and mid-sized nonprofits having extraordinary impact on  low-income,  underserved youth , and with the potential to have much more. In September, we  received numerous Letters of Interest from  nonprofits seeking to be considered as the next SVP grantee. Twelve inspiring organizations have been invited to submit full proposals. Over the next few months, our partners will work to narrow the field to the most promising finalists. Want to become a partner and participate in the due diligence process beginning this November? It's not too late! Email Esther for more info.
Props!
  • SVP Corporate Partner and Board member  Jacie Fogelberg  and her husband,
Brian Fogelberg, were honored by Free Arts Minnesota as Advocates of the Year. We're proud to have you in our ranks!
