The Bylaws and Standing Rules exist to guide us in running the Society of Decorative Painters. These documents are being updated to reflect changes in the ways we communicate and to be timelier.

We have updates to the Bylaws and Standing Rules. You are receiving these as a member of the Society of Decorative Painters, please read them. 

The Bylaws and Standing Rules will be voted on at the Annual Meeting in August at the 50^th Anniversary Celebration in Las Vegas. As per our current By-Laws and Standing Rules changes to these can only be voted on in-person only those attending the Annual Meeting can cast a ballot for the changes.

As you open and read these documents the changes are indicated by the color, strikethrough, and underlined text.

Red - to be removed.

Blue - are to be added.

Yellow - boxes are explanations for the reader.
