Support Our Socrates Family
The Annual Fund Campaign is our primary opportunity for families to participate in the continued success of our school by helping to bridge the gap left by state and local funding. Your gift supports existing educational programs, new curriculum development, improves facilities, and essential needs of our school.
SIMFIELD RD. DROP OFF AND PICK UP
Students are not permitted to be dropped off before school or picked up after school, (with the exception of sports) from Simfield Rd.
All families are expected to go through carpool to pick up their students. Students who leave the building when their name has not be entered in carpool will receive a demerit.
SA IS HIRING A CROSSING GUARD!

Socrates Academy is looking for someone to assist with directing traffic AM (7:45-8:15) and PM (3:30-4:00) M-F? This is a paid position starting April 1st. Contact lbakis@socratesacademy.us if interested in more information.

Sweetheart Dance Volunteers (April 1, 2022)

We need your help on April 1st!! We are looking for volunteers to pay-it-forward in helping prep and cleaning up after the 1st-3rd grade girls' Sweetheart Dance. We are so excited to be able to bring this fun event back this year!

Please look at the list below, and sign up for a time you can help support the event. As always, volunteer hours can be logged following the link on The Socrates Connection or on our website.

YEARBOOKS are now on sale but you will want to hurry since time is limited. Prices go up $5.00 every two weeks so if you want the lowest price of the year, buy before March 17th. The yearbook sale permanently ends on Sunday, April 17th. NO extras will be purchased so if you want to purchase a yearbook for your child, you MUST preorder. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PLAN BOYS BOWLING

We are looking for parents to volunteer to plan our upcoming 1st - 3rd Grade Boys Bowling Night. 1st - 3rd grade boys will invite the sweetheart of their choice and enjoy an evening of music, fun and bowling.

Hot lunch regular ordering for April will close Thursday, March 10. Late fee ordering will open Friday, March 11 through Tuesday, March 15. Late fee ordering includes a late charge of $10 per student, not per family.

MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE
MARCH 25TH
7PM - 9PM

This dance will be held outdoors under the lights by the picnic tables, as it was in the Fall.
ALL DANCE TICKETS MUST BE PURCHAED ONLINE. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
During the last dance, so many students paid in person that they were not able to join the dance on time, due to the long wait times in line. Ticket sales will be cut off at 6pm the day of the dance. Students who have not paid will not be permitted to enter.
8th Grade Shirts: COMING SOON!
These shirts can be worn as spiritwear on Fridays.

We have been asking cars to form a double line during carpool in the staff lot on the right side of the building. These cars should zipper merge. Please take turns going from two lines to one.
