Wear Colors on October 31st & Support a Cause

Next Thursday, October 31st, we're NOT going to dress in our Halloween costumes- Instead were going to participate in an "Awareness Alliance" Day. (Middle School will be given specific instructions for this day at a later time) Throughout the year there are many days or even months dedicated to celebrating particular causes. For example, Red for Heart Disease Awareness, Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, Green for Mental Health Awareness. While as a school we can't celebrate each cause, we can come together to collectively celebrate. On October 31st, scholars are asked to wear a color to support a cause of their choice.

This Week at Socrates Academy
Into Thin Air: Sixth Grade students tried out the rope course at Camp Thunderbird this week. Students participated in activities from canoeing to arts and crafts. They had a great time, (but were probably happy to sleep in their own beds).
