Section 7 (pages 15-16) of your contract with SODEXO states that an employee personnel file will be maintained. Every employee shall be entitled to review his/her personnel file provided that a written request to do so is received.
Any disciplinary action not sustained as a result of the grievance process shall be removed from the personnel file. Also, sustained disciplinary actions, with no recurrence of discipline for two (2) years of active employment thereafter, shall not be considered for the purposes of progressive discipline.
JNESO strongly encourages you to check your personnel file at least twice a year, but if you have a suspicion you can request to review your file a reasonable amount of times within the year.
JNESO also encourages you to initial the documents or make some sort of notation to show you have reviewed the documents.
