The Point is re-opening for the season: Businesses are starting to re-open and/or expand their hours as the nice weather is quickly coming. Spring is a wonderful time to visit. It's a bit quieter than the busier summer months though you can still enjoy so much of the beauty, fishing, dining and everything else you love about the Point.

Silver Waters Winery: Just a short 4 mile drive from the cottages you'll find the great little Silver Waters Wine Tasting Room at 7386 State St in Sodus. Be sure to check it out the next time you want to sample some new wines from the region. Owner Tom V, is incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable.

Total Solar Eclipse is Coming: We've learned that our area is supposed to have a great view of the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Interest is so high that we only have one home still available for the event (3-night min). Bay View at the Point offers 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a fantastic front deck for viewing. Make plans to gather with family or friends to see this unique natural wonder.

Great Cheeses & Breads: Next time you take a drive around the bay, be sure to stop at Brick School House Cheese & Bread, 9204 Ridge Rd, North Rose, for their selection of cheese and breads. Rumor has it their pies are great too. This season's re-opening is April 7th.

Rainy Day Movie? The area has two wonderful nearby historic theatres. Both offer considerable discounts compared to the chain theatres and have all the charm of old small town USA. Each is within 20-25 minutes away.

Baby Gear Rentals: No room in the car to pack some gear for the baby for your next vacation? Prefer to rent a stroller, crib, or other baby items? Visit the BabyQuip website for their complete selection of baby-related items for rent. Bridget will drop off and pick up right at the cottage. She'll even consider ordering extra equipment if requested in advance.
