As we welcome 2021, the SR2S Program is committed to continue working with our partners to support the health and safety of students as they return to school - whenever that may be. We know there’s still a lot going on but we’re here to help so check out our Annual Report, MicroGrant program and our new Drop-off/Pick-up Plan resource to help prepare schools for campus return.
Safe Routes to School Launches Pilot MicroGrant Program
SR2S launched a pilot MicroGrant Program in November 2019. Solano County schools, school districts, cities and community-based organizations were invited to apply for the $78,000 in available funding...click to read more.

While students have been learning from home this school year, the Safe Routes to School Program has been busy developing resources for schools in preparation for the return to in-person learning. When students return to school sites, we expect that many families will feel safer driving their own students...see how we can help.


2019-2020 SR2S Annual Report

Although the 2019-2020 school year presented unprecedented challenges for our school communities, the Safe Routes to School program was able to support schools with programs, events, and opportunities across Solano County prior to school closures in March 2020.
